WebOLead 2.1: A/B testing and fully manageable ActionBox positioning

From today you can:

  • Place a specific ActionBox on a specific page
  • Place a specific ActionBox on a given set of pages
  • Conduct A/B testing on a specific page to maximise conversions
  • Conduct A/B testing on a given set of pages to maximise conversions

Place a specific ActionBox on a specific page

Do you want to generate highly qualified prospects for a very precise product or service? We allow you to control the appearance of all your ActionBoxes to display them in the right places.

For example, you can create a specific ActionBox which will only be displayed on the page www.mysite.com/xyz.html, thereby engaging the visitor to seek information or to download documentation related to this product. We have beta-tested this option with some of our users, and have obtained conversion rates of 4 to 8%!

The more precise you are in your calls to action, the more qualified contacts you will obtain.

Instructions:

  • In the WebOLead console, create a new ActionBox, giving it the name of the product or service, XYZ in this example
  • Think of a tagline dedicated to this specific product or service, for example: “Download our 2017 XYZ documentation”
  • Go to advanced settings, then to the “Include pages” field, and copy and paste the address of the page on which you want this ActionBox to appear

Now, on the page of your site www.mysite.com/products-services/xyz.html your XYZ ActionBox will only appear on this page.

Place a specific ActionBox on a given set of pages

Does your website offer different sections for products or services, and do you wish to generate highly qualified prospects for each of these sections? It is now possible to place an ActionBox which will only be visible on a given set of pages.

For example, you can create a specific ActionBox which will be displayed on all pages of your site beginning with www.mysite.com/products-services/xyz*

Instructions:

  • In the WebOLead console, create a new ActionBox, giving it the name of a range of products or services, XYZ range in this example
  • Think of a tagline dedicated to these specific products or services, for example: “Download our 2017 documentation for our XYZ product range”
  • Go to advanced settings, then to the “Include pages” field, and copy and paste the address www.mysite.com/products-services/range/xyz* (with * at the end)

Now, on all pages of your site which begin with www.mysite.com/products-services/range/xyz* your XYZ Range ActionBox will appear regardless of the number of pages which begin with range/xyz*

Duplicating an ActionBox

Have you configured your first ActionBoxes as you wish and do you want to create new ActionBoxes using the same qualification fields, the same colours and the same message? All you have to do is duplicate the ActionBox and make the adjustments you feel are necessary. This new functionality will save you lots of time!

Instructions:

  • In the WebOLead console, choose the ActionBox which suits your purposes
  • In the drop-down menu to the left of the ActionBox name, click “Duplicate” then modify the settings as you choose

Conduct A/B testing on a specific page to maximise conversions

You may have created one or more specific ActionBoxes for very precise pages, but are you certain you are sending the right message to your visitors? You could almost certainly convert more of them by testing different messages!

With WebOLead’s new A/B Testing function you will be able to create several ActionBoxes for the same page, and WebOLead will determine which one is the most effective, in order to provide you with the maximum number of conversions.

Instructions:

  • Consider various taglines, for example: “Download the XYZ documentation”; “Download the new XYZ documentation”; “Download the new 2017 XYZ documentation”; “Download the 2017 XYZ documentation”; etc.
  • Create or duplicate an ActionBox for every different message
  • For each ActionBox, go to advanced setting, then to the “Include pages” field and copy and paste the address of the page on which you want this ActionBox to appear

Now, on the page of your site www.mysite.com/products-services/xyz.html, all ActionBoxes dedicated to this page will be A/B tested to ensure maximum performance and obtain as many qualified contacts as possible.

Conduct A/B testing on a given set of pages to maximise conversions

The same applies as for a specific page: you can A/B test several ActionBoxes for a given set of pages in order to maximise the number of conversions and convert the maximum number of anonymous visitors into qualified prospects

  • Consider various taglines, for example: “Download the XYZ range documentation”; “Download the new XYZ range documentation”; “Download the new 2017 XYZ range documentation”; “Download the 2017 XYZ documentation”; etc.
  • Create or duplicate an ActionBox for every different message
